When using a home iron, the design should be covered with Kraft paper or a non-stick cover sheet and pressed on a flat, hard surface, applying medium/firm pressure without sliding the iron. Each section of the design should be pressed for 10-15 seconds, and any areas that lift after application should be re-pressed for an additional 5-10 seconds.

For heat press application, the design should be cut in reverse, with the excess material weeded. The garment should be preheated for 2-3 seconds before applying the design at 305°F/150°C using medium pressure for 10-15 seconds. The carrier can then be peeled hot or cold.
